When you’re busy running your business, it’s easy to miss announcements from vendors like Punchpass. We want to quickly highlight some of the new functionality that’s been added in the past few months to make sure everyone can quickly scan what’s been added. Here are the main improvements and new features you may have missed!
Send An Automated Email After Class Ends – Want to send a survey or a follow-up after specific classes? Now you can with this new automation.
Memberships can now have a minimum number of charges before someone can self-cancel.
Membership rollover credits can now be limited to a certain number of renewals. For example, limit your rollovers to only be good for the next membership period…which prevents customers from racking up a large surplus.
Calendar Notices can now be edited AND can span multiple days.
Saved Credit Cards! Cards on file was a long standing request – now we make it easy for you or your customers to save a card on file and charge it when needed.
Bulk classtime edits now let you do things like change instructors, cancel classes, etc right from the schedule and in bulk. Huge timesaver!
Children’s accounts have been improved to make managing and booking children’s classes MUCH easier for both the admins and the parents. Kids can be flagged, and extra information added to show when attendance is marked. If you’re offering kids classes and don’t use family accounts, do your customers a favor and turn them on!
Reservations that are moved by customers now get tracked – see where a customer moved a reservation to instead of thinking it was just a cancellation.
Individual classes can be marked as open for booking, even if you restrict reservations only to customers who have space on their active passes. This lets you have free lead generation events to let new customers easily book!
This is just the highlights and doesn’t include a TON of behind-the-scenes infrastructure work. Punchpass is now hosted on an entirely different platform (so it’s faster and has better uptime!) and the payment system is being completely rewritten, which sets the stage for more enhancements.
