Product Updates

Punchpass is constantly being updated and improved! This is what’s new:

Update

Removed irrelevant report for duplicate emails

January 20, 2023

We’ve removed the ‘duplicate emails’ report from the admin view. Duplicate emails have been forbidden for several years, so that report was no longer relevant.

New Feature

Now you can totally halt the sale of a particular pass

January 18, 2023

Now you have the ability to completely shut off the sale of a pass. You won’t use this often, but it’ll be handy if you want to disable a rogue link that might be floating around — like a secret link that’s outlived its time or if you suspect credit card fraud targeting a specific pass.

Bug Fix

Mobile intake form issue fixed

January 18, 2023

We fixed an issue with onboarding intake forms that were not working on mobile. All fixed.

Update

New membership length of 9 months added

January 18, 2023

Now you can sell a membership that’s 9 months long.

New Feature

NEW! Duplicate Passes, Classes & Series

January 17, 2023

Now you can quickly duplicate existing passes, classes, and series! So you can copy an existing version of something you currently offer to create a new one while keeping the important settings, descriptions, etc. No need to start from scratch! For new classes & passes, you’ll copy over the existing eligible pass <-> class relationship (except for any tickets). Series duplication is a little more basic, so you’ll have to complete the new series’ settings. We expect this new feature to be a real time saver for you 🙂

Improvement

Instructor profile menu modified

January 13, 2023

Now the “instructors” menu item won’t show on your public page unless there’s at least one active instructor who has established a public profile.

New Feature

Series Ticketing is live!

December 29, 2022

One last improvement for 2022! 🎉 We know how much you rely on series to deepen your connections with clients. So we have introduced a great new feature to make it even easier to collect payment — Series Ticketing! Once you’ve set up the dates for your series, it’s simple to turn on ticketing and enter the price. Then when a customer registers, they are issued a ticket that is valid for all the classes in that particular series. The flexibility you expect is still there — so when those unexpected situations come up, you can handle them (like moving the client to a new series or collecting payment separately). And if you prefer to use the old way of linking passes to your series, that’s still fine too.

Improvement

Email receipts for tickets

December 27, 2022

Now you can send an email receipt for a ticket, regardless of how it was paid for. It’s found on the ‘Manage Ticket’ page.

Improvement

Weekly pass length options added

December 27, 2022

We added a couple of new options for those who define pass length in weeks: now passes can be anywhere from 4-26 weeks in length.

Improvement

Series start date added to list for easy sorting during setup

December 27, 2022

We added the “start date” field to the list of series on your setup page in Manage Classes. So now you can sort your series list there more easily.
