Product Updates

Punchpass is constantly being updated and improved! This is what’s new:

Improvement

More options for reservation cancellation window

February 14, 2023

Now you have more options around how soon before class a reservation can be canceled. You can choose from options like 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1.5 hours, etc, as this setting has been converted from hours to minutes. You can find this option at the top of your Online Reservations settings.

Improvement

Report improved to include series tickets

February 13, 2023

The ‘Attendances By Date Range’ report now includes the revenue for series tickets.

Bug Fix

Resolved no-show attendance feature

February 9, 2023

We resolved an issue with the ‘mark no-show’ attendance feature, which was not working under certain circumstances.

Bug Fix

Fix to attendance edit options

February 8, 2023

We resolved the issue where admins had been able to edit an attendance and assign it to a gift card. They cannot do that anymore.

Bug Fix

Admin purchase notification fixed

February 8, 2023

The admin purchase notifications were missing the price if a discount code was used. That has been fixed, and we have also added the code that was used for the purchase.

Bug Fix

Fix to upcoming reservations information

February 7, 2023

We have fixed a couple of issues with upcoming reservations not showing the correct information. Primary issues were still showing the ‘Needs Pass’ (or not) after changing a class’s pass eligibility, and the ‘new customer’ plant icon showing after someone had attended.

Improvement

*NEW!* Now you can offer free passes online :)

February 1, 2023

We’ve made it much easier for you to “sell” passes for free! Just fix the price as $0 and set it to sell online. That pass will be listed on your public pass sales page with a price of $0. When a customer selects the pass, they are prompted to complete the form (so you have their contact information), but then they are NOT redirected to Stripe — they receive the “thank you” confirmation and an email receipt with the $0 sales price noted. The regular limitations around WHO can ‘buy’ the pass are still valid. For example, you can limit $0 passes only to new customers, or only 1 purchase per customer. So if you want to make a free trial pass available to make your studio as welcoming and inclusive as possible, offer a free one 🙂 This should be a great tool to help with your marketing efforts!

New Feature

New! Sell a limited number of passes

January 23, 2023

Want to offer a limited number of special passes? Now you can set a limit to how many passes you can sell of a particular pass type. Once you’ve sold that number of passes, your customers will see that the pass has sold out. So now you can offer passes with limited availability (New years special!) without monitoring sales numbers and manually turning them off.

Improvement

Improved reporting of passes unpaid by Stripe

January 23, 2023

Admins will see an improvement to the “Passes – Payment Not Received” report — it now includes passes where the Stripe payment failed. Those passes are highlighted with a little orange flag to help distinguish them.

Improvement

Forgiven attendances have better labeling

January 23, 2023

We’ve improved the messaging on your attendance screen after you’ve ‘forgiven’ a customer for attending a class without a valid pass. You’ll see this improvement for such situations from this date forward (not retroactively).
