Product Updates

Punchpass is constantly being updated and improved! This is what’s new:

Improvement

Improvements to Tickets

May 9, 2023

We made some small but helpful updates to our tickets feature. We’ve worked on being more consistent with how we handle passes and tickets. Now, tickets use the ‘Show’ view just like passes and have similar actions. Plus, you can delete tickets (even if they were paid through Stripe) without affecting customer reservations. We also made some improvements to the user interface when working with series tickets.

New Feature

๐ŸŽ‰ NEW! Introducing our new email template feature ๐Ÿ’Œ

May 3, 2023

We’re thrilled to introduce a new feature that will save you time: Email templates! With this new tool, you can easily create personalized emails for your customers without starting from scratch each time. Not only will this help you make a great impression and maintain consistent messaging, but it will also free up valuable time.

Improvement

It’s easier to transfer a customer’s series reservation

May 1, 2023

We’ve made it easier for owners and instructors to transfer a customer’s series reservation. Simply click the ‘Transfer’ link next to each customer reservation on the Series details page.

Improvement

Added new class length

May 1, 2023

You can now customize your classes to be 8.5 hours long.

Update

Twitter handles no longer stored

May 1, 2023

Business profiles no longer have the option to store Twitter handles, but you can still store your Facebook and Instagram handles.

Improvement

Series reservations are more flexible

April 10, 2023

When a series has registered customers, and instances are added or removed, Punchpass will ensure that the reserved customers have reservations in any new instances added to the series. Reservations in a class that is removed from a series will remain, but they will not be considered part of the ‘bundle’ of reservations for the whole series.

Improvement

Tickets can grant access to content collections

April 10, 2023

Tickets can now be used to grant access to specific collections of content. When ticketing is enabled for a course or series, a button will appear to manage access to the content collection. It’s important to note that access to content is dependent on having a valid and active pass. Once the pass has expired or is full, content access will end immediately (i.e., when the class or series is over).

Improvement

Improved process for appointments schedule

April 10, 2023

We have improved the process for administrators to add a class to the Appointments schedule. The revised process now has two steps: 1. To enable the appointments schedule, admins must first turn it on in Manage Settings under Public Schedule. Note that this has already been enabled for all existing clients with appointments on their schedule.
2. Next, you can choose to display a course on the appointments schedule (or move it back to the regular schedule using the actions menu for that course).

Improvement

Easier management of tickets

March 30, 2023

Admins on your account can now delete assigned tickets that have not been paid for through Stripe. You can also assign an unpaid ticket and manage it by clicking the “Assign a Ticket” button on this modal after taking attendance for a customer. You can manage the ticket through the existing Manage Ticket page.

New Feature

NEW FEATURE! Allow single reservations for individual series classes

March 28, 2023

We are excited to announce that individual session reservations are now live for series! This is great for those times when you want to allow your clients to fill up extra spots by making individual reservations in a class that is part of a series. A few extra reservations can help boost the bottom line!
