Punchpass is constantly being updated and improved! This is what’s new:

Update

Self Service Improvement: Change Your Own Plan

December 6, 2019

Now businesses who use Punchpass can change their plans themselves. Just go to Settings => Billing to make your plan selection.

Improvement

Waitlist Movement Is Easier for You and Your Customers

December 3, 2019

Now you can move a customer from a waitlist to a regular reservation for that class in one click. When this is done, a Reservation Confirmation email is sent to the customer. We’ve also improved the way your logged-in clients see and claim an open spot when they are on the waitlist for a class. Now when they log in, Punchpass shows them the option to claim the open spot right on their home page so they can claim it easily. If they view the class details page, they’ll see the same button to claim the spot.

New Feature

Welcoming a Customer on Their Birthday Is Easy Now

December 2, 2019

Now when a customer attends class on their birthday, you’ll see a birthday cake icon and a big notice when you take attendance. The birthday cake icon also shows up if they have booked in advance, so you’ll see that beside their name on your reservation list.

Improvement

Waivers Are More Flexible Now

December 2, 2019

We’ve added the ability to create a draft waiver before making it active, so you can keep you language as a draft until you’re ready to roll it out. You can also now reactivate an old version of your waiver without having to re-collect signatures that you may have previously collected for that version.

Update

Icon Shown Only When Waiver Has Not Been Signed Yet

November 14, 2019

We now show the waiver icon (a green pen) if a customer has NOT signed & action is needed. The icon does not show if the signature was already collected.

Improvement

Add a Calendar Notice to a Date Range

November 13, 2019

Now when you add a notice to your public schedule, you’re given the opportunity to show that notice across a range of dates. So you won’t need to add the same notice multiple times when it covers a multi-day time period.

Improvement

Pass Ending Soon Emails Always Include Punchcard Expiration Date

November 11, 2019

If a punchcard has an expiration date, we now always include that date on the “pass ending soon” reminder email to the customer. So even if the reason for the email is that there are 2 visits left, the customer now knows when they need to use their pass by.

Update

Discount Codes Have Been Moved to the Settings Page

November 8, 2019

If you sell passes online with Stripe, you’ll now find the link to set up Discount Codes right on the main Settings page. They are easier for you to see and access there compared to their previous location inside Online Payments.

Improvement

Discount Code Redemptions Report & Export

November 6, 2019

Now you can export the report that shows discount code redemptions as a csv file.

New Feature

Now You Can Extend All Active Pass Expiration Dates

October 30, 2019

Now you can extend the expiration date of all the active passes currently held by all your customers. This is great if you’re heading out for vacation or shutting down for the holidays and you want to give your passholders more time to use their pre-purchased passes. Just go to Manage Passes and use the action button to choose the number of days required. When a pass is extended, you’ll see a note on each pass affected as a reminder.
