Bug Fix

Content Library Thumbnails Improved

October 20, 2021

The process around updating the thumbnail URL for a video uploaded to the content library has been improved. This will prevent the ‘stripeybars’ thumbnail image from being used.

Improvement

Embed Appointments Calendar Separately

October 20, 2021

Now you can embed your appointments calendar separately on your website! You can copy the code snippet (in the Embeds section of Settings) to embed your appointments calendar.

Improvement

Membership Period Can Be 45 Days

October 19, 2021

Small Improvement: Memberships now have 45 days as a renewal length option.

Improvement

Series Deletion Now Gives Option to Keep Classes On Schedule

September 30, 2021

When a business admin deletes a series, you now have the option to keep the individual classes on the schedule instead of deleting them. Deleting is the default, though the options are clearly explained.

Improvement

Customers’ Deleted Reservations Now Shown to Admin

September 23, 2021

A business admin can now find a customer’s deleted reservations in the ‘History’ tab on their customer details page. We show also show an approximate time before the class started that they canceled.

Improvement

Max Booking Period Clarified

September 16, 2021

We adjusted the wording around the maximum amount of time customers can book in advance. Instead of saying ‘No Limit’, we changed the setting to state that the max limit is 365 days. Booking cannot extend beyond that.

Improvement

URLs Sent for Online Classes Can Be ‘Good’ as Soon as They Are Sent

September 16, 2021

Business admins can now allow the URLs sent for online classes to be ‘good’ as soon as they are sent (instead of 40 minutes before class). This is helpful for businesses who use the online class links for pre-recorded classes since you want the links to work as soon as the customer books. If the reservation is canceled or deleted, the links are still disabled. The setting is in Online Reservation Settings. The default is to still limit URL access based on the class time.

Improvement

Security Measures Simplified for Customers

September 10, 2021

A background invisible scoring system is now being used first in place of the Google reCAPTCHA puzzle-solving system. Users will be evaluated based on a variety of factors to determine if they are a bot. If they score too low, it will fall back on forcing them to do a captcha puzzle-solving challenge but the idea is that the vast majority of users should no longer have to do this. Hopefully, this will save most users from the captcha headache while continuing to provide protection against automated bot behavior.

Update

Customers’ Pass Purchase Form Has Its Own Distinct Page

September 9, 2021

A customer’s pass purchase workflow now shows the pass purchase form on its own distinct page, instead of in a pop-up modal. This is to enable more consistent behavior with the Google reCAPTCHA, especially on mobile.

Improvement

Online Class Urls Are Now Customized on a Per-Reservation Basis

September 9, 2021

The online class URLs Punchpass sends to customers are now customized on a per-reservation basis. This means that before we redirect the customer to the actual online class, we can inspect the URL, and determine if it is still valid. (For example, if the customer canceled their reservation, we just don’t forward them but instead show them a message that the reservation was canceled.) The big win here is that now we can add the URLs to any of the customer emails, without worrying about if they can still cancel. Much simpler.
