Product Updates

Punchpass is constantly being updated and improved! This is what’s new:

Improvement

Payment form when assigning a new pass has been improved

May 22, 2019

When assigning a customer a new pass or membership, the Payment section has been improved to only show the parts of the form necessary, depending on whether the customer is paying with a credit card or not. This update will help reduce confusion about what fields are needed when assigning a new pass!

Improvement

Customer Attendances report – date range added

May 15, 2019

The Customer Attendance report has gotten an upgrade: you can now select a date range to see who has come to class over that time period. That makes it much more useful for tracking attendances for contests & challenges.

New Feature

Why is an Attendance a No Pass?

May 7, 2019

We have added a small pop-up to explain WHY an attendance has been marked as having no pass. This will make it much easier to understand, an help guide you and your instructors to help fix the problem.

Update

Security Update

May 2, 2019

Administrator passwords now require an email confirmation – they cannot be changed in-app. And customer emails cannot be changed to match an administrator’s email address by mistake (potentially enabling admin login privileges.) More updates including 2FA coming soon!

Improvement

Customer Self Checkin has been redesigned

April 29, 2019

The customer self checkin process and screens have been redesigned to make them easier to use. Your customers will find the new fonts, prompts, and process easier than ever to use.

New Feature

Use Google Analytics and Facebook Pixels to Track Customer Activity

April 25, 2019

Now you can enter your Google Analytics ID and/or your Facebook Pixel ID so you can track your customers’ Punchpass activity. If the code is present, Punchpass will fire the analytics tracker for you on all of your public pages when your customers use the system. If a customer has opted out of cookies, we will not fire the tracker. You can enter your IDs by visiting Manage Account => Account Settings => Public Web Pages.

Improvement

Pass Expiring Soon emails now always sent

April 6, 2019

Now “pass ending soon” emails are sent regardless of whether the customer has another active pass. So if you offer different kinds of passes for your different class types, you are totally covered. As part of this improvement, we’ve also modified the email to show the other active passes a cardholder might have.

Improvement

Reservation Reminders emails now list future reservations

April 6, 2019

We now include a list of a customer’s future reservations with your business at the bottom of the reservation reminder email. This provides a complete picture to your customers about what they’ve got coming up at your studio.

Update

Redesigned Customer Pages are Live!

April 4, 2019

The redesign of the “Customers” section of the Punchpass admin site is now live. Hope you love its lovely simplicity 🙂

New Feature

Late Cancellations are Live!

March 20, 2019

This much-requested feature will allow your customers to cancel a reservation past your pre-set deadline. So you can open up that spot, kick off the waitlist process, and fill up your class. But because the cancellation happened late, your customer can still be penalized for the class they are missing. Here’s how it works: when a customer tries to cancel past your deadline, Punchpass will warn them. If they proceed and confirm the cancellation, we create a special kind of attendance called a late cancel & mark the customer’s pass (if they have one). You must enable this feature to use it.
