We moved part of our infrastructure to a new job queuing system this morning. TCDO (Too Confusing Don’t Understand 😄): A very important part of our infrastructure got a big upgrade! Things will run more consistently behind the scenes, and we’ll be better able to troubleshoot issues and find problem spots.

We have dramatically improved the speed for the Content Library feature, now customers can access the library and see video collections available to them in record time! We are looking as speeds 10-20x faster than our previous load time 🤩

The Attendances by Date Range report has been improved to load significantly faster. This will help loading times and prevent timing out when running the report with a wide date range and a large amount of attendance data.

There is a studio QR code available from the homescreen of each Punchpass account. You can open it for a new customer to quickly scan and sign up for an account, or click the new download option and share it, print it, or post it anywhere you like!

We’ve completed a big upgrade to our authentication system. The security of the overall system is improved, and we smoothed out many of the rough edges studio admins & their customers would occasionally run into. We think this upgrade makes Punchpass the easiest and most flexible product for switching between different studio accounts, or between an admin and a customer account. One login, and then choose where you want to go!

Many studios offer donation based/pay-what-you-can passes. It has always been simple for the customer to choose what to pay. But if the pass was assigned by an admin, it was cumbersome. No more! Now it is simple to modify the price paid on a donation based pass right when you assign it to a customer. We’re happy to be able to sneak this one in right before the holiday break!

Duplicate customers is a fact of life – someone sign up with a different email address, and suddenly there are two Susan Williams. 🙄 There has always been the option to merge customers but it’s felt dodgy – your left a little unclear as to which customer is kept, what happens to the duplicate, etc. Now we’ve made the process and UI much clearer to prevent any mistakes!
